How to Test ?

1. How to perform an accurate mileage test?
There are several ways to perform an accurate mileage test.
Please click here to see our recommendation.

2. Is there an easy way to measure the fuel consumption?
Yes. You can reset the odometer and perform a baseline test before you install the fuel saver. After you know the vehicle¡¦s exact fuel consumption, you can install the fuel saver and see what type of mileage you achieve with the fuel saver by following the same route that you did the baseline test. Mileage is the sum of the distance divided by the amount of fuel used. For more accurate measurement, we recommend our customers do several baseline tests before installing the Moletech Fuel Saver.

3. When can I see the results?

Most users have reported extra performance within 30 minutes after the installation and an instant decrease of emissions on smog check. For some older vehicles (more than 5 years), optimum result may take up to 500 miles of high speed driving depending on vehicle conditions.

4. Why can older vehicles take up to 500 miles at high speed driving to achieve better mileage?
Large amounts of carbon build-up can cause incomplete combustion incompletely even with the Moletech Fuel Saver in your vehicle. In order to see the optimum result of Moletech Fuel Saver, the vehicle will need a high speed driving for up to 500 miles to clean the carbon build-up. In some vehicles, a computer stores the driving behavior and provides the fuel to the engine. Please ask the mechanic to reset the computer after installing the Moletech Fuel Saver. It will help the computer reorganizes the fuel sending behavior.

5. Do the climatic conditions make a difference?

Yes. In the winter season, the engine will need more time to warm up to normal operating temperature, and it will run more often when the vehicle is idling; icy road conditions, etc. These factors can affect the results. However, the Moletech Fuel Saver will still proportionally improve mileage. If you wish to perform a correct before-and-after test, please always have the same conditions for both tests.
